The Canadian Association of Critical Care Nurses (CACCN), a not for profit corporation, has worked with Erin Roberts and the Zzeem team several times over the past five years. In late 2020, we approached Erin to provide an RFP to review our policies. Erin contacted us to advise that we should really undergo a risk management review as our corporate structure with our chapters was putting the association at significant risk. Erin and Jonathan Roberts worked with our COO to understand our ‘business’ and put together a proposal that clearly outlined the risk we were facing and how we could mitigate the risk with a change in structure and policy.
Throughout this process, Erin and Jonathan were professional, knowledgeable, and direct in terms of what needed to happen to protect the Association and what could happen should we do nothing. With their assistance, we were able to explain the current situation and enact the changes required to protect our board members, staff, chapter executive, and members quickly and clearly.
